Oplatki Christmas Wafers are a wonderful Christmas Eve tradition celebrated in Poland and other Slav countries.
The Christmas wafers consist of 3 white wafers and 1 pink wafer which measure 3 x 5-1/2 inches, embossed with beautiful Nativity scenes, and then placed in a Christmas envelope. The white wafers are traditionally passed around the table and shared with guests on Christmas Eve along with good wishes and blessings . The head of the house shares the pink wafer at midnight with any animals he has as a reminder that we are all God's creatures. For those who are not familiar with the tradition, there is an enclosure included with the Oplatki Christmas wafers which explains the tradition, the rite itself and the symbolism of the rite. The Oplatki wafers are imported from Poland and made only once a year at Christmas time from pure wheat flour and water
I just wanted to say thank you to the person(s) who got my oplatki order out the door so quickly! As usual, I forgot to order it until the 20th. I was worried that it might not come in time for Christmas Eve. I was just about to try to diy it, but decided to check my mailbox first. Lo and behold, there it was! Our family always celebrates Christmas Eve vigilia with the Polish custom to keep my husband's traditions ongoing even though I am of Irish decent. Until now, I had oplatki sent from northern friends or family. Couldn't find it here in Florida and found you online. Arrived fresh and packaged well.
I ordered a little late this year and they arrived packaged very well and in time for Christmas. I will likely order from them again.

Grew up back east and Oplatki was a Christmas Eve tradition. Got older moved out west and found Oplatki was virtually impossible to get, until now. Arrived in a beautiful envelope and very fresh. I gave it 4 stars due to shipping threw it in the box and the envelope was all crinkled.

Our church decided this year not to provide these wafers. My husband who grew up with these at Christmas was so disappointed. I googled it and found you! I was pleasantly surprised to see it, buy it, and receive it well in advance of Christmas. Thank you.
